DemoCamp is a collaborative event that brings together developers, creatives, entrepreneurs and investors to showcase the best up-and-coming tech products in our province.
The rules for DemoCamp are simple: Ten companies will be given 7 minutes to demo their real, working products, followed by 5 minutes for questions. No slides are allowed.
This is a free community event hosted by Startup Calgary and Startup Edmonton to celebrate Alberta’s technology ecosystem before the AccelerateAB conference on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

For presenters, it’s a great way to get feedback on what you’re building from peers and the community, all in an informal setting.

About AccelerateAB: AccelerateAB, powered by the A100, celebrates the best of Alberta’s technology scene. The annual conference brings together leaders, investors, influencers and supporters of Alberta’s technology ecosystem, with the goal of leveraging the success of the next generation of technology entrepreneurs across the province.
David Crow and Albert Lai conceived DemoCamp as a light-weight monthly gathering for designers, developers, and entrepreneurs to get together and demonstrate cool stuff they had been working on.
The first DemoCamp was held in December 2005 at the Bubbleshare offices in Toronto, ON.
DemoCamp in Edmonton recently celebrated its 40th edition and a decade of demos. The first edition of DemoCamp in Edmonton was co-organized by Cam Linke & Pat Lor.
Fun fact! Jobber did a shout-out for its first employee at DemoCamp and at DemoCamp 39 called for employee 101!
