HISTORY

  • David Crow and Albert Lai conceived DemoCamp as a light-weight monthly gathering for designers, developers, and entrepreneurs to get together and demonstrate cool stuff they had been working on.

  • The first DemoCamp was held in December 2005 at the Bubbleshare offices in Toronto, ON.

  • DemoCamp in Edmonton recently celebrated its 40th edition and a decade of demos. The first edition of DemoCamp in Edmonton was co-organized by Cam Linke & Pat Lor.

  • Fun fact! Jobber did a shout-out for its first employee at DemoCamp and at DemoCamp 39 called for employee 101!
